1. Syrovarnya Eatery & Cheese: Indulge in a unique dining experience at Syrovarnya Eatery & Cheese. This restaurant offers a delightful fusion of Russian and Italian cuisine, specializing in cheese-based dishes. Enjoy a cozy ambiance while savoring a variety of artisanal cheeses, flavorful pasta dishes, and delectable desserts. The service here was amazing and there were so many options on the menu - in addition they did amazing espresso martinis!
2. Novikov Baku: For an unforgettable lunch experience, head to Novikov Baku. This stylish restaurant combines contemporary Asian cuisine with an elegant setting. From sushi and sashimi to Chinese dim sum and wok dishes, Novikov offers a diverse menu that caters to various tastes. The restaurant's modern interior and attentive service create a memorable dining atmosphere. We visited at lunchtime at sat outside in the sunshine - we moved away from the usual Asian food and had the best pesto & mozzarella bruschetta I've ever had - a must order!!
3. Room (Wine Bar): If you're a wine enthusiast, Room is a must-visit wine bar in Baku. Located in Fountains Square, this cozy establishment boasts an extensive wine selection from around the world. Whether you're a connoisseur or simply want to enjoy a glass of fine wine, Room offers a sophisticated setting where you can unwind and appreciate the flavors and aromas of exceptional vintages.
4. CHINAR: Known as the Soho House of Baku, CHINAR is a trendy restaurant and lounge that exudes style and sophistication. Located in the heart of the city, CHINAR offers a diverse menu of Azerbaijani and international dishes prepared with a modern twist. The restaurant's chic design, lively atmosphere, and innovative cocktails make it a popular choice for a memorable dining experience. It's a popular place with celebrities, particularly around Grand Prix weekends!
5. Qazmaq Old City: For a delightful breakfast or brunch experience, visit Qazmaq Old City. Located in the heart of the Old City, this charming restaurant offers a cozy ambiance and a menu featuring traditional Azerbaijani cuisine. Start your day with a breakfast spread, including freshly baked bread, local cheeses, jams, honey, and aromatic tea. Qazmaq Old City is the perfect place to savor traditional flavors while immersing yourself in the historical surroundings of Baku's Old Town. But note it was very busy on the weekend and you may have to queue for a little while! Although it was definitely worth the wait!
